Job Description

Community Health Centers of South Central Texas, Inc. (CHCSCT, Inc.), a FQHC (not for profit), is currently seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)/Medical Assistant (MA) for our WellMed Team. Must be able to travel. Spanish a plus.

The Medical Assistant would need to do routine Medical Assistant duties as well as the following:

  • Help with medical record management
  • Prepping charts
  • Referrals
  • Frequent patient contact
  • Scheduling appointments
  • Insurance verification
  • Other Administrative duties

The Medical Assistant will receive special training from WellMed in how to do the paperwork/value-based process. Candidates will need to live in or near the following areas: Luling, Lockhart, Seguin and Gonzales and be willing to travel to all sites once a week to assist in our value-based care program.
