Company Profile

This clinic was chartered in 1974 but has been providing health
services to the people of Gonzales county since 1966.

The service area has been designated as a Medically Under-served
Area, Health Professional Shortage Area and as a Medically
Under-served Population. The clinic maintains three service sites and
provides services such as pharmacy, laboratory, social services,
family planning, HIV/AIDS testing and counseling, health education,
nutrition counseling, WIC, transportation assistance, immunizations,
and obstetrics.

The clinic also has programs in place for specialist physician
referrals, dental referrals, and referrals for substance abuse and
mental health counseling.

History

Since 1966 we have been a private non-profit corporation. We began
as a volunteer clinic with one part-time Physician and a Nurse. We
have expanded to over 70 full and part time employees and continue
to grow.

We received a generous donation of land from the City of Gonzales
where our new 15,000 square foot facility resides. And in the new
facility we now have a fully operational Dental Center.

In response to the demand for services and in keeping with our
economic development mission, we expanded our services to the
north of us and have a second facility located in Luling Texas.
